Hello, friends. One month has passed since we said goodbye to each other. I miss you all. And I also miss the wonderful days in Korea. Please allow me to express some personal opinion here. I know this blog is created for us to share things about earth science, but until now there's nothing about earth science that is posted, only several photoes and some words from Chris.
I know that among us, there are many earth science lovers and I also truely feel from my heart that earth science is grand and beautiful. It's great that we can share ideas and news about earth science here. However, I think we should not only share about earth science, but also share interesting things happening in our everyday life.
After all, daily life is what is real, and is what brings us together, allowing us to understand each other more. Therefore, I hope this blog can can become a place we share everything. I hope we can feel easier, not so serious. This is life. It would be boring if we talk only about earth science. Just like I can't live on chocolate no matter how much I love it. That's all I want to say. By the way, wish everyone of you are happy through your everyday life, and wish you are able to smile when you cry.

And so begins our journey...

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step...

Welcome everyone to the IESO Student Blog!

This blog is a place to post all of the interesting Earth Science news from all over the world as well as a place to report IESO news.

First and foremost I'd like to thank everyone who participated in and made possible the first ever IESO. Without the amazing participants, observers and instructors, fantastic sponsors, and phenomenal IESO coordinating committee the IESO would never have been such a positive experience.

As the student coordinator I'm going to be establishing a couple of communication systems in the coming weeks.
  1. An e-mail group
    1. For global communication
  2. A photo sharing space
    1. To share all the amazing photos that everyone took while in South Korea!
    2. To share all Earth Science related photos
  3. A blog
    1. To report relevant Earth Science and IESO news
I hope that everyone can participate in these systems so that the goals of the IESO can continue to be spread throughout the world.
